Most Added Players In Dynasty Fantasy Football: Cyrus Allen, Roman Wilson And More

It's always a good idea to check out the most added/dropped tab that's on Sleeper in your dynasty league. What's one leaguemates trash could be another's treasure. You just never know which player could pop at the end of your bench. So let's dive into the players who have been added the most in dynasty leagues.

Cyrus Allen | WR | Chiefs

I'm gonna be honest, I don't see the upside here. Maybe it's because we're gotten back to our traditional roots of hyping up every player that gets drafted by the Chiefs because, "It's Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes!"

I remember the Skyy Moore days. He scored a whole ONE touchdown across three seasons (36 games) during his time in Kansas City.

But, since it's that time of year, a recent RotoBaller report had this to say about Cyrus Allen:

Pete Sweeney of The Kansas City Star writes that Allen has "undoubtedly" been Mahomes' favorite target early on. "It feels like he's looking Allen's way every time he's out there," Sweeney writes.

You already know that's going to cause some hype.

However, Allen collided with a teammate on a special teams punt rep and needed assistance in getting off the field. Make sure to keep tabs on his status this week.

Allen checks in at WR25 in our Rookie WR Model and landed with the Chiefs in Round 5 this past spring. He did score 13 TDs in his final collegiate season with Cincinnati last year, but he's competing for a depth role on this offense. In fact, our projections have him scoring a whopping 27 PPR points this season.

If you have unlimited bench/taxi spots, I suppose you could justify stashing Allen. Otherwise, leave him on waivers and save that spot for someone with a greater opportunity to be productive both for their actual team and your dynasty fantasy football team.

Roman Wilson | WR | Steelers

It's crazy how fast things can change across both the NFL and the fantasy football landscape.

A few weeks ago, Roman Wilson was one of the most-dropped players in fantasy football. Now, he's one of the top-5 most-added now that training camps are underway.

To be sure, it's been a disappointing start to a once-promising career for Wilson. Drafted on Day 2 by the Steelers back in 2024, injuries have limited him to just 14 games (12 total receptions / 2 TDs) across two seasons.

The Steelers receiver room is led by the tandem of DK Metcalf and newly-acquired Michael Pittman Jr. In addition, the team added second-round wideout Germie Bernard this past spring. That's a lot of bodies in front of Wilson. Once you include the RBs and TEs, our projections have him finishing No. 8 in PPR scoring … on his own team.

Just last week, HC Mike McCarthy was praising Wilson's versatility and ability to line up all over the formation. It's a small sample size thus far, but Bernard has been getting the majority of the first-team reps over Wilson for now.

A lot can (and likely will) change in the coming weeks, but it's encouraging to see Wilson getting some traction behind his dynasty value again.

Malik Benson | WR | Raiders

One of the more open wideout rooms in all of football belongs to the Raiders. The top 2 options, on paper, are currently Tre Tucker and Jalen Nailor. To highlight how bleak that is, our projections have them finishing with 130 and 128 PPR points, respectively.

That's … not ideal for your top 2 wideouts.

Behind them, it's wide open. That's why sixth-round rookie Malik Benson has been getting some recent buzz in training camp. Standing at 6-foot-1 and boasting 4.37-40 speed (95th percentile), he certainly has the ability to stretch the field and open up the offense a bit.

At the same time, we need to be careful with these offseason buzz pieces. Just because Benson's been drawing praise from his coaching staff doesn't automatically mean he's going to become a significant fantasy contributor in Year 1.

In a situation like this, I have no problem stashing Benson on my taxi squad and just seeing what happens this season. I wouldn't have any additional expectations beyond that right now.

Jack Strand | QB | Falcons

The only reason Jack Strand, an undrafted QB out of Minnesota State-Moorhead, is getting any sort of attention in this column is because he took all of the 11-on-11 reps at practice last week. Both Michael Penix (knee) and Tua Tagovailoa (back) sat out as they spent additional time recovering from various injuries.

I wouldn't be in a hurry to add Strand to my roster at this time unless, for some reason, my only two QBs were Penix and Tua. Even then, in a 1QB format, there are better options out there on waivers for you.

To be sure, QB success stories can come out of nowhere—Brock Purdy—so it's always exciting when a young guy gets a chance to take first-team reps and show what he can do.

Erick All | TE | Bengals

Erick All hasn't appeared in a game since 2024 as a torn ACL kept him out all of last season. However, his recovery must be going well as dynasty managers are starting to scoop him up wherever they can.

Drafted out of Iowa back in 2024 by the Bengals, All has just nine NFL games under his belt. To his credit, he has hauled in 20 of his 22 targets for 158 yards, but he's still waiting for his first TD reception. As it stands, Mike Gesicki is in front of him on the depth chart and our 2026 projections give the edge to Gesicki as well. However, dynasty managers are notorious for looking ahead and are already starting to give the edge to the younger All over the now-30 Gesicki.

Even with all this positive momentum, I wouldn't be racing to stash All on my bench unless I had extra bench spots on a deep roster. The Bengals are going to run their offense through Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and Chase Brown. Anything that's left over isn't going to be enough to be fantasy viable anyway, and we've already established that All isn't even the TE1 on his own team.

He's a name to keep in the back of your mind for future opportunities, but I would stay the course as it pertains to All at this time.
